We are seeking a passionate and innovative Automation Engineer to join our team and support our vision of continuous improvement and excellence in business processes.

Your Impact

As an Automation Engineer in the Automation Office, you will work with stakeholders across Ikano Bank to develop, test, and implement automation solutions that streamline business processes and boost efficiency. You’ll design and deploy automation workflows using RPA, DPA, low-code platforms, and AI technologies. Your collaboration with IT, other departments, and external partners will ensure that the automation initiatives meet business requirements and deliver high-quality results.

In this role, you will be the technical contributor, driving innovation in automation, while ensuring the smooth operation of deployed solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, test, and deploy automation solutions using RPA, DPA, and AI technologies.
  • Monitor and maintain automated workflows, troubleshooting and optimizing processes to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop detailed process documentation and work closely with the scrum team to ensure quality automation solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality, performance, and security of automated solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, business analysts, and project managers and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Stay ahead of the latest trends in automation technologies to continually improve solutions and enhance business efficiency.

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or RPA Developer, with tools like UiPath or similar (3+ years).
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams and delivering automation projects on time is a must.
  • Proven experience on the Microsoft Power Platform stack is an advantage.
  • Experience with programming/software development such as REST, SQL, Python, Java, Javascript, VBA and/or .Net will be considered as an advantage.
  • Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning technologies as applied to process automation is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
